(Fourteen and Fifteen) Integers,[1] also referred to as Numbers by fans, are a species of sentient colorful numbers in the genus Algebraliens. The most notable members of this species (and the only ones with meaningful canonical appearances in BFDI) are Four and Two.

In BFB, Integers appear to be more sloppily hand-drawn figures of their symbol. Unlike normal characters, Integers are hand-drawn. They are drawn with a thick black outline, with one uniform color. They all have eye-widening compared to the characters. Their arms and legs are also different, being drawn with width and usually a lighter color than their body. The front and back views of their bodies are the same, even if vertically asymmetric. The only difference is the lack of a face. An integer with a hole in it (such as 0 and 6) will be covered with its color.

In "X Finds Out His Value" however, Integers appear to be more geometrical, amimated using rigs with straight lines and curves.

Behavior[]

Integers seem to share a close relationship with one another, rather with non-math symbols, sticking to their own society.

Activities[]

Integers have many simple activities they may consider hobbies. These activities are:

Hanging out in The Equation Playground Blowing bubbles Skateboarding Hosting "games" (Four) Participating in these games Playing cards Watching object shows on TV Cyber bullying (Nine) Eating skin (Fourteen) Trick or Treating Anatomy[]

Numbers seem to be more flexible than objects. Being round and bulbous, numbers seem to be made out of a squishy material. From character to character, the material varies. Four has squishy material (as seen in BFB 1 when Liy squished him), Seven is made of rubber material (as seen in "Thanks for 900,000 subscribers!"), and Eight is very solid, rumored to be made of pure lead (mentioned by Six in "Thanks for 900,000 subscribers!"). The rest of the number's materials are unknown. Numbers are also said to not have gender "where [they] come from" (mentioned by Four in "Enter the Exit"), most using any pronouns. They are also covered in "numeric membrane" (as Coiny implied in BFB 17), which is an analogue for skin.

Abilities[]

Numbers seem to have a range of abilities, greatly differing from regular objects.

These include:

Screeching (with adverse effect) Shooting Laser Beams Reality Warping (making objects suddenly appear, and changing what and where they are) Malleable body and limbs Recovery Mutilation (morphing objects) Sucking up contestants Super Speed Dismemberment (de-attachment of limbs) Teleportation Cloud manipulation Levitation Construction Regeneration Morphing Telekinesis Despawning Mixing Sinking Terraforming

Numbers differ in abilities, some being weaker than others. Four has most of the abilities listed. Two has the ability to give their powers to others, though if the other numbers can is unknown.

Algebraic evaluation[]

Numbers are able to perform mathematical operations with each other, and other sufficiently number-like objects or formations. In "Four Goes Too Far", Four is multiplied with Donut (representing 0), with X meant to be a multiplicative sign, but ran away out of fear. In "Thanks for 1,500,000 Subscribers!!", Nine and Six use a plus shaped bush to combine into Fifteen.

Notable numbers[] Four Two Zero One Three Five Six Seven Eight Nine Ten Thirteen Fourteen Fifteen One Million Trivia[] When Four and Donut were multiplied, Four was found as goo inside of Donut. This may mean when any number is multiplied by 0, they are combined into 0. Numbers seem to come from another realm, outside of the BFDI space. In "Enter the Exit", when Four goes to eliminate Roboty, he has the old straight outline he had in XFOHV. The number characters have also made at least one cameo in the BFDI universe, whether as recommended characters in some BFB episodes or as actual characters in videos featuring the Algebralians, such as JacknJellify's 600,000, 700,000, 800,000, 900,000, 1,000,000 and 1,500,000 subscribers specials. Numbers with two or more digits are connected into one, such as the case with Ten, with the 1 and the 0 connected together into 10, with Fourteen, with the 1 and the 4 connected together into 14, with Fifteen, with the 1 and the 5 connected together into 15, and One Million, with the 1 connected together with the six 0's into 1000000. Despite appearing as a recommended character, One Million didn’t appear in the 1,000,000 subscribers special. The official name of the species was revealed when jacknjellify hit 700,000 subscribers.[2] The colors of the numbers from 1 to 8 (except Five) are apparently based on the Minesweeper number colors. It is possible that the color of 0 as well, based on the empty silver squares that you get sometimes in Minesweeper. It is unclear where Nine's color came from, as no color in Minesweeper looks even similar to their color. Five's color is based on Super Minesweeper. A musical eighth note similar to math symbols appears in Lo-Fi Beats to Yoyle To — BFB 21 on Friday, July 3, but it's not clarified if they are a math symbol, Tune, or neither. According to Four and Michael Haung, Algebraliens have no genders. However, they are still sometimes referred to with he/him pronouns (they/them being used the rest of the time). They are always drawn in the same position and never backwards, even when their backs are facing the screen. Zero has been shown to have many multiple versions of themselves, implying that the other Algebraliens are not unique beings and have more than one version of themselves. Many other similar species to the Integers, such as Variables, Polygons, Polyhedrons, Fractions, Irrationals, and Operators are known to exist.
